This little girl is the only one of my ancestors, back to 1800, not born in south Ulster.

It brings to mind another little girl, her great-grandmother, who was born in India about 1794 and married 11 years later.

He was the 4th son of Robert Lowry of Aghenis (son of John Lowry of Aghenis, whose P will proved in 1689 mentions his wife Jane and his sons Robert and John and daus Katherine, Rebecca and Anne) by Anne, dau of Rev Jas Sinclair, Rector of Leckpatrick (2nd son of Sir James Sinclair of Caithness).
born in 1707, TCD BA 1730 MA 1732
A family bible gives his date of birth erroneously as born July, 1711 (see earl of Belmore in UJA, 1904, pg 35 et seq)
Had a licence to go to England 28 Sept 1739 (DR). He exchanged Clogherny in 1745 with Rev R Dobbs for Desertcreat (Tullyhog), which he held till his death.
He married Hester, [eldest daughter of John Richardson of Richill and sister of Mary, Lady Gosford] who died in 1771 & left issue: Robert of Pomeroy, Rev John & Rev James of Rockdale. He died 21 Nov 1786.

An inscription on a slab inside the Lowry family vault at Desertcreat reads:

"Gentle reader, tell me, which is best; the tiresome journey or the travellers rest?"

Prerogative will made 9th Oct, 1786, proved Mar 1787. Thomas Dickson of Lodge, Co Donegal (sic)(son-in-law) was his sole executor. He left his estate in trust to Daniel Eccles and Thomas Dickson for his eldest son, Robert.

died Apr 27th 1906, aged 83, buried at Muckross.
Muckross was established as a Perpetual Curaacy 6th Apr, 1865 and had then no district attached. John and Armar Lowry conveyed ground for the site of the church 7 Apr 1865 (DR) Having endowed it, they had the patronage in 1868, when the church dedicated to St John was built.
They executed a further deed of endowment 30th May, 1876.

Robert Gilbert Eccles
1867 - January 13th. - Robert Gilbert Eccles, A.B., succeeded. R.G. Eccles, Trinity College, Dublin-son of John Eccles, Esq., of Ecclesville, county Tyrone-was born June 14th, 1826; obtained deacon's orders January 7th, 1850; priested December same year=both of Tuam. Was curate of Westport from 1850 to 1862; of Maguire's-bridge, from 1853 to 1866; of Shaseragh from 1862 to 1865; of Clabby, from 1865 to 1866; and of Ballibay, from 1866 to 1867. In 1853 he married Nannie Elizabeth, daughter of Lieutenant-Colonel Dickson, of Hollybrook, county Fermanagh, and has numerous issue.
Among the virtues for which the rectors of Kilbrogan have been always conspicuous, is charity.

June 25th, 1799, Ballybay Presby. - Have on Second Tryals Mr. Morell.
A Supplication from a part of the Congregation of Ballybay was presented to the Synod praying that another Poll might be taken respecting Mr. Morell.
After hearing the Commissioner and the Presby. of Monaghan at some length, it was decided to dismiss the affair.
June 24th, 1800 - Monaghan Presby. report that they ordained the Revd. Jas. Morell in the Congon. of Ballybay 6th Aug. last, who is a contributor to the widows' fund.

Henry Henderson was born in Belfast in 1820, graduated from Old College Belfast in 1841; he was licensed by the Presbytery of Belfast on 25 Sept 1842, ordained in Hollywood in 1844 and married Sarah Jane Russell in 1846.
